"Do you even know how many people you are inspiring just by showing up and being yourself" -Nidhi Kush Shah

Hello, and welcome to my Capstone Portfolio!

This is a platform where I will be sharing my graduate studies, as well as my journey through education and athletics.

Born and raised in the mitten state, I am a Grand Rapids, Michigan native. I grew up playing soccer and kickball with my neighbors, but as I grew older I soon realized that my athletic abilities stemmed from my natural speed. Both my parents were casual runners, so I followed suit and joined my school's cross-country team in 7th grade and I haven't looked back.

My pathway to higher education and collegiate athletics started at Western Michigan University, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where I studied Exercise Science and competed for the cross-country and track team at the Division 1 level. After four years at Western Michigan and completing my bachelor's of science degree, I made the switch to Michigan State University to pursue the Master of Arts in Education program, and to use my remaining track eligibility.

In my free time, I love to camp, play guitar, and hang with my sister. (Fun fact: I am a twin!)

Covid-19 has made this past year of school and sport very unique, but I am excited to complete my master's degree and put the uniform back on for my final season of track!
